The Lowdown:

Story: On an Island in the middle of the sea (no one knows where, maybe near Hyrule) Link celebrates his 12th birthday with his family (Grandmother (no name) and Sister (Aril). Link recives a new green tunic and a telescope from his sister. Link goes to a tower to try out his telescope. While doing so, he sees a bird attack a captain of a pirate ship. Aril tells Link to go investigate. While Link is investigating, the bird captures Aril and takes her to an island*. It is now up to you, as Link, to rescue Aril and defeat the prates and find out who the bird is!

History: Even before the Oracle Games were made, Nintendo was thinking of making a Zelda game for the new Gamecube.
At first, the graphics looked as those you may find in say.......Soul Caliber. But then, Shigero Myamito (creator of Zelda) changed his mind to what is now reffered to as "Celda" by many, because of the tecnique of Cel- Shading Nintendo used for the game. Many people had different opinions about this, but try as we might, the graphics WILL stay the same and Link WILL look like a cartoon........**Sigh**
